CAROL A. SILVER

Carol’s creative career spans Television Development & Production, Writing, Marketing and Special Events. After starting in Production at MTV Networks, she spent 8 years at ESPN where she created, developed and co-produced the show “Dream Job,” which ran for three seasons and tripled ratings in its time slot. Prior to that, Carol led ESPN's Special Events Marketing at all high profile sporting events for the network. She was then recruited by the CEO of Six Flags Entertainment to take part in a company turnaround effort. During her tenure at Six Flags, she relocated to the sunny west coast to lead the company's Hollywood entertainment initiatives. She also wrote and published a line of children's storybooks that won the 2008 i-Parenting Media Award. Most recently Carol has produced the red carpet for the NFL Honors show, held annually from the Super Bowl.


A New Yorker at heart, she drives too fast, enjoys debating West Coasters on the merits of her beloved Yankees, and spends her free time writing screenplays and reading the New York Post in quaint coffee shops all over L.A. Carol is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in English and Creative Writing. She lives by the motto, “A single journey can change the course of a life.”
