George comes from the world of entertainment and storytelling. After spending nearly a decade on the creative side of business, working at various advertising agencies and branding firms on Fortune 500 accounts, George parlayed his experience into media sales and television. He joined Six Flags Entertainment in the midst of the company’s turnaround efforts as the Vice President of Corporate Alliances, securing national partnerships across all business categories. In 2008, he was recruited by the chairman of dick clark productions to lead the company’s sponsorship sales division. At dick clark, George touched numerous high profile assets and brands, creating partnerships across dcp’s live event portfolio—the Golden Globes, the American Music Awards, the Academy of Country Music Awards, So You Think You Can Dance and New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. George’s heart and talents lie in being the connective tissue that unites the creative process and its partners.

George is a graduate of the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. He holds a Master of Arts from the University of San Francisco. In the fall, you can find George in the classroom teaching a course in Sales and Business Development at USF’s Sport Management Master’s Program. The underlying philosophy George instills in his students is: life is a learning experience if you don’t subscribe to the word failure.
